Interactive 3D & BIM for Exhibition Stands

Browser-based design review, model coordination and reusable stand documentation

What the browser-based model can support

The model is used selectively where it improves decisions, coordination or reuse—not as an unnecessary extra for every small stand.

Remote design review

Clients and teams can review a shared spatial model without installing specialist BIM software.

Option comparison

Layouts, materials, colours and product positions can be compared before fabrication decisions are fixed.

Element information

Selected components can carry dimensions, material notes, identifiers and links to drawings or product information.

Review and issue tracking

Decisions and open points can be structured around the same model and documented for the responsible parties.

Reusable stand inventory

Reusable frames, graphics, furniture and media components can be recorded for future stand configurations.

Post-event digital presentation

Where commercially useful, selected products and information can remain accessible in a simplified web presentation.

From project files to an interactive review

01

Define the decision use case

The first question is what the model must improve: approval, product communication, coordination, reuse or a combination.

02

Prepare the right level of model detail

Only the geometry and information needed for the agreed decisions are prepared; unnecessary BIM detail is avoided.

03

Review and document decisions

The browser environment is used in design meetings and the resulting approvals, comments and responsibilities are recorded.

04

Transfer to delivery and future use

Relevant information is transferred to drawings, schedules and specialist partners; reusable items can remain in a digital inventory.

When the service is useful—and when it is not

The service is most useful for international teams, complex products, several design options, repeated participation, modular stand systems or projects with many approval interfaces. It can also improve communication when decision-makers cannot attend every design meeting in person.

For a one-off small system stand with a simple graphic wall and table, a full BIM model may add cost without creating enough value. In that case, drawings and standard visualisations may be more appropriate.

The browser model supports communication and coordination. It does not replace electrical, lighting, structural, fire-safety or AV design by qualified specialists.
