Formal electrical testing, structural verification, rigging approval, fire-safety checks and specialist commissioning must be completed by the responsible qualified contractors and documented where required.</p> <h3>Record and prioritise defects</h3> <p>Each issue should have a location, photograph, description, responsible party and deadline. Separate critical safety or operational issues from cosmetic items that can be corrected later. Confirm acceptance of any substitute materials or unfinished elements in writing.</p> <h3>Close-out after opening</h3> <p>Keep the final drawings, defect records and supplier contacts accessible during the event.
